Playing

Caleb's play has taken on new dimensions...he can play on his back, his stomach - KNEELING - and has also started to help cleanup. We did help stack the toys in the background though.

New House!

Wow! Through some personal sacrifices of our friends and families, we moved into our house over the weekend before Thanksgiving - Thank you to Tom and Christina, in particular! Now all we have to do is agree on which drawer should have the silverware, and we're good to go!

 

Family Guy

Over Thanksgiving, Caleb got to meet and play with a lot of family - including his cousin Jalene!

 

Big Boy Chair

Believe it or not, Caleb got into this chair with only a little outside help from Uncle Ryan. Now, sitting down in the chair was definitely an adult notion - and not Caleb's idea of fun!

Caleb has mastered his surpised look, and is now working on looking innocent (or clueless) of what's happened! We think he inherited this look from his dad!!!

 

 

New Toy!!!

Caleb did well with his new toy, riding and walking his way around the living room!

Caleb has been working on his "surpised face" for a couple of days. This one is his favorite, we think... 

Caught!

We caught Caleb rooting through our cupboards and spit-shining our Tupperware. We snapped this photo right before he hocked a loogie onto the green bowl on the right. Seriously, Kim and I washed everything in cupboards that were lower than our waists. 

Caleb Stands Alone!!!

It's that easy, folks! Caleb stood on his own, and even took a couple of staggering steps!!! I think he'll be stumbling around this apartment before we move into our new house... 

We thought we had lost Caleb's pacifier...only to find that he had played a little trick on his mom and dad! I don't even want to think about what he used to get it to stick to the wall like that!!! 

Wow!!! Caleb got himself into a standing position while playing in this basket! It's kind of wierd to see him practicing walking!!! 

We are sooo ready to crawl... 

Caleb loves to meet new people. He's "met" Abby before, but as he's grown a bit since the last time he saw her, this visit proved to be memorable as he alternated between being transfixed by her or laughing out loud. 

Caleb is learning to sleep in even the most difficult of circumstances. 

Caleb has moved from couch potatoe (I learned my spelling from Dan Quayle) to laundry basket potatoe!!!
